WELCOME REESA LYNN ARBOGAST.......

Eleven o'clock Tuesday night we got the call we'd all been waiting for....Trina was on her way to the hospital to have a baby...the water had broke...pains were close...Trina was more than able and willing! Derek said he would call when things really started happening. That call came about 5:30AM and we hit the floor running. Both parents were there and the excitement was growing. Trina was in the same delivery room that she and all the girls had been born in, we waiting in the same, familiar waiting room, and it was pretty much business as usual.

Trina had been given an epiderl so wasn't feeling much pain but it had slowed the contractions down. Finally, they decided to give her some pitosin and that caused some action. About ten we were beginning to see the doctor more regularly and the nurses were preparing for the birth (same doctor and nurse all three girls had).

There are never the right words to express the miracle of birth. You just stand in awe of how that beautiful little person that just emerged from such a protective, thriving, nurturing environment.
The doctor show us the placenta and how the veins from bottom to top resembled the "tree of life". It was amazing and I'd never heard a little story nor explanation of that.
As usual Trina was amazing! She does what has to be done and never hardly says a word or let's out a moan.
Reesa was born at 11:10AM. Derek guessed right on. He got to cut the cord. Derek is such a big, tender Dad and really does love his little girls.Reesa weighed in a 7 lbs. 3 oz. and was 20 1/2"long. She has blonde curly hair, gorgeous fingers and toes, and perfect in every way. All her sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents think she's the best and love kissing her little face and hands. We thank God again for this precious addition to our family and pray for more to join her.

When we went back in the evening Danette, Jess and baby Sean were there. They were just leaving but had passes inspection!Ha We took some more awake pics of Reesa before letting Derek and Trina get some sleep. Trina will be in hospital till Friday. Phone number is 360-
825-2505.
Just like a mom....count the number of fingers and toes and make sure all are there.

Yeah Reesa! I just happened to be working at the hospital yesterday day so I got to be in and out during the activity yesterday. Of course I had to be at my desk at 11am and Reesa was born at 11:10am. While sitting at my desk at registration I got the call from the OB nurse (who didn't know we were related) telling me we had a new admission to the hospital born to patient Arbogast, female, and time! Luckily I had a great co-worker who kept letting me take "breaks" and going back to the room. One time, Taylor even took me to see her new sister!

Great job Derek/Trina, Reesa sure is a cutie! Looks like her own person but definately has similarities to Abbie!
