Prayers

My oldest boy, is so special. He brings such an energy to our home and although there are moments of sheer frustration, I just can't help but to love him!

Today, during sacrament, I opened my eyes to see if the kids had their eyes open. I peaked at Jay and whispered close your eyes. He loudly asks, "Why are your eyes open?"

Tonight, was his turn for family prayer, "Thank you for love, for safety, for mom & dad, please bless we'll make good choices, and not pee our pants. Please help us learn, karate, headstands, backflips, and somersaults on the slide. Let us be a family forever. Name of Jeeeeeeesus Christ, Amen."

It is so hard not to laugh during the prayer when your, almost 4 yr old has his arms folded and eyes closed tightly, and is concentrating on saying a prayer that is so heart felt! He really does just want to learn karate, headstands, backflips and somersaults!
