Well, the time had come to say goodbye to our Danelle so we could depart on the first leg of her journey to the MTC via Rexburg, Idaho to see Dustin's family before going to Provo. Dallin and Darin went out to clean the sidewalks and make the entry to the house lovely, they said. We had had a wind storm and blew branches all over. Thanks guys for your help! It was a bittersweet gathering because we all knew how happy she was to get going on her eighteen month service to the Lord. We had invited a few people over to say goodbye to her and have some food and fun. President Rodarte came first to set her apart as a missionary and gave her a beautiful blessing which brought tears to everyone's eyes.....including his! He told her, " you will be an effective missionary because you will love the people you teach and serve. You will influence many people and many generations to come. You have been prepared by those who love you."
