Every year we plant the front flowerbeds at Derek and Trina's house. It started the first year they moved in and has been a fun annual event. Kids always like to participate and play in the dirt...This year we also planted some tomato and green bean plants which Taylor is very happy about.

Grandpa even got into it this year. His job is usually just hauling the top soil.
It had poured rain for weeks and we couldn't even get them planted the usual time but we just got bigger plants.....lol It poured rain this day too but stopped so we quickly got them in the ground.
Of course, we had to stop and play with the earthworms that had surfaced because of the rain and us digging....

Derek and Trina have such a great spot here that gets so much sun it's perfect for flowers. They have a huge yard that they are pretty particular about but kids have all their huge backyard toys in back so front is only place they can really have a lot of flowers.
