My Pumpkin Is Better Than Yours

Last night Cassie and I had some friends over for dinner and pumpkin carving! It was fun to have them over as we tried to "create" taco soup for dinner. We had never made it but certainly knew what it was supposed to taste like and apparently we didn't make it right.



After that we began to carve our beloved pumpkins! Cassie and I each had gone online to pick out a face we liked so they would look half way descent. Our friends taught us that if you sprinkle some cinnamon on the bottom of the cut-out top that the candle in the pumpkin will give it a scented aroma.



After the pumpkin carving was done and the mess, made by my wife, was cleaned up we watched the movie The Boogie Man. It was a fun night filled with activities to prepare us for the 31st!




Also, Cassie and I have chosen our Halloween costumes and are allowing you all to guess before we let you in on our surprise identities ...
