For the past few years Denise, Danette, Danelle, Cassie and Grandma Arbogast have been spending the day before Cassie's birthday school shopping at the SuperMall. Cassie hasn't been real into it until this year and to our SUPRISE she shopped and enjoyed picking out her wardrobe for her first year at Enumclaw High School. We all hopped into the minivan and got to the mall about 10:30AM. We all of course have our opinions to what looked "great" and Cassie was a good sport about trying everything on and modeling it in front of us all for inspection.
Every year we do something funny and take pictures. First year, we all tried on ugly hats, the next was formals/fancy dresses, and this year they all decided to put a hairpiece/ponytail on me.

After about three hours and a shopping cart full of goodies we headed out of the mall and to Red Robins for lunch. While waiting for our lunch Danette gave her a gift of all new makeup fit for any LDS girl wanting "the natural look". We all laughed and talked about high school memories, family and whatever came up.

Finally, out came a group of the servers singing "happy birthday" and presented Cassie with a chocolate sundae.
This really is a tradition for all of us that we wouldn't miss. Blisters on our feet=hate, long lines=impatience, laughter=million dollars, time together=PRICELESS!

Looks like Mom has found her youth with that pony tail and Cassie has found her age while looking so pretty in her makeup. You are all so wonderful! We love you!
Hey I did call while I was in town. No one answered. I even had talked to Susan and she was going to come with me with her kids. Sorry I didn't a chance to come by. If the house doesn't sell we will probably be back at Ft. Lewis next year. No luck yet with the house lots of lookers just no buyers. There are at least six other houses in the neighborhood for sell too. Hope all is well with everyone. Looks like the shopping was a lot of fun!
