A Western Barbecue Wedding, Rodarte Style...

You walked onto a beautiful lawn and through a iron wagon wheel gate,
Beautiful flowers of every color filled the barrels, baskets and pots
Ribbons and bows were tied along the fences
A large white tent protected the authentic western buffet
Which consisted of chicken, beans, salads, rolls and fruits

Music played in the background as you were welcomed by family
With smiles contagious from the joy of the occasion.

A beautiful cake was spotlighted in the corner of the court
Almost taking on a "statue" or "monument" look
With its perfect roses and daisies decorating it's layers.
Glass barrels of lemonade quinched the thirst of cowboys/girls

Who had come to celebrate the love of Jed/Audra
Praises, gratitudes, love and memories were expressed by some
And dancing to some of the best western music was enjoyed by all
We were reminded again of the sacred vows/covenants
Which bind us here on earth in preparation of eternity.
