WATCHING "THE WIZARD OF AHHHHH" AND VISITING METAL-LAND!

Last week we went to Darin's in Spokane to spend some time with his family. Darin is the High Counselor in charge of activities in his stake and they were putting together a "cultural" night with roadshows from each of the units/wards. They hadn't had them in many years so he was a little nervous how they would come out. Dallin was ask to be a munchkin in their ward show so we were off to dress rehearsal Saturday morning. It was SOOOOO GREAT!!! The guys set up chairs, made a run for the popcorn popper, and other last minute details while after practice Deb, Dallin and I went to a really cool place that imported metal yard/house decor. There were thousands of different things all spread out on acres of land. There were animals, birds, knights, fountains, gazebos, fences, arches, dinasours and more. (Look on their blog for pics) That night I not only got to watch as Dallin "performed" but I got to be a judge. While they were waiting for the judges to finish up, Dallin got up on the stage and led the audience (400) in singing "Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree". It was a weekend of fun and LOTS of laughs. Dallin, "You better be ready for our next squirt gun "shootout"!"(as if we could get any wetter)HaHa Grandma Marilyn
