Lake Hedger campground....where the fun begins!

This is the office/store as you pull into the camp. Very nice people will greet us and take good care of us. They have a small store with things like soup, chips, popcorn, candy, ice cream, barbecue bake beans, can vegetables, camp supplies, etc.

This is one of our little friends we don't have to be afraid will come into our camp! This one is cute and cuddly. He's right outside the office door by the phone booth (in case cell phones don't work there).
Bikes here to rent so that will be fun for anyone who wants some exercise......NOT!
Walking up to our camp from office. Is really nice and camping areas all run together so it is like a group camp.
These are the "burn pits" to cook in. They assured us of no burn ban there. These keep the fires smaller and not so dangerous.
This is a "get water" and "wash dishes" area. There is a double enamel sink here and you can do your dishes like at home. What you don't throw away that is????
Now girls you won't believe this but this is the bathroom! Not gigantic but really nice. Behind the pink curtains is the showers.
This is the restroom, showers and laundry room. It is probably a 100 feet from our campsites right behind the office/store and up probably the same distance from the beach.
This walking down through the campground from our camp area. See the lake ahead through the trees? Is shady and not a very big campground.
We really wanted campsites here on the lakefront but there were none at that late date. Then we figured it be to dangerous with all the little kids needing to be watched...
This is the beautiful beach to enjoy the view as well as swimming. You can see the buoys. I watched as a beaver swam by with branches in it's mouth and loved the feel of "the wilds"....a perfect place for the "ArboWilds".
