Well, last Saturday we decided to load up and all go to the pumpkin patch at Maris Farms.
It was a gorgeous fall day and the colors everywhere so beautiful....
First, was a stop for a pic in front of Mr. Pumpkin.......
Then off to pet the animals and feed the goats hay....
We were just in time to see the "pig races" so to the race track around the corner from the barn where we pet the animals. Danette (who else?)was chosen to give the favorite pig a kiss and then they were off and running.....The kids really enjoyed this (and the adults I might add).

Leaving the pig racing area and directly ahead of us, for all to see.......the ponies! This truly was the happiest place on earth for Abbie, Jess, and Jay. You can see them all in this pic with BIG smiles.
Now we were getting hungry....Taylor didn't want to go on the ponies so grandma bought her a "funnel cake" with strawberries and whipped cream.....ummmm It was so big she shared a bite with everyone who wanted one.
Aunt cookie got the really good popcorn so she shared that.....some got corn on a stick.....others strawberry lemonade
Finally, we go to the pumpkin field to get that PERFECT pumpkin to take home and carve. They were so excited with so many they ran around, through, over and sat on all of them. Derek and Cassie got wheelbarrows to put the pumpkins in but they were soon filled with kids! At the end they had to share with the pumpkins and we headed out.

Grandma wanted a pic of the grandkids and they were NOT in the mood so this is the best of the half dozen taken.
Grandpa and I also had one taken and really were that happy....spending time with family really is PRICELESS!
